Import subtitle and caption files

SRT, WebVTT, EBU STL, Spruce STL, SBV, LRC, SAMI/SMI, MicroDVD SUB, TTML, DFXP, IMSC, iTT, ASS, SSA, Avid DS, SCC, MCC, DCP XML, VRT-like text and TXT.

Export subtitle and caption files

SRT, WebVTT, EBU STL, Spruce STL, SBV, LRC, SAMI/SMI, MicroDVD SUB, TTML, DFXP, IMSC, iTT, ASS, SSA, Avid DS, SCC and MCC.

DCP subtitle deliverables

Delivery Notes

Versatile, with explicit limits where formats are limited.

STL

EBU STL and Spruce STL

Both use the `.stl` extension, but they are different formats. Choose EBU STL for broadcast-style binary STL and Spruce STL for text-based legacy interchange.

WEB

SBV, SAMI and MicroDVD

These formats are useful for YouTube-style captions, legacy Windows caption files and frame-number subtitle exchange. Confirm frame rate before MicroDVD export.

LRC

LRC timed lyrics

LRC export writes cue start times and lyric text. It does not preserve subtitle out-times, so it is not a replacement for normal caption delivery.

Validate final handoff

Advanced formats can carry broadcaster, streamer, cinema or platform-specific rules. Validate final files in the receiving system when delivery compliance matters.
